Wrongfully convicted New Yorkers, including members of the exonerated Central Park Five, held a press conference on December 15, 2021 to call for the passage of a package of bills this legislative session that will reveal and prevent wrongful convictions. Among those present were exonerated Central Park Five members Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Kevin Richardson along with exoneree Derrick Hamilton, and Senator Zellnor Myrie.
