CVS, the largest drugstore chain in the United States, announced that it will be closing 900 stores, 10% of its pharmacies over a three year period, New York, NY, December 23 2021. CVS, which completed a $69 billion acquisition of Aetna (managed health care company) in 2018, plans to shift into health care.
