United States hand over heavy machinery, including backhoe loaders and crawler excavators to southern and eastern regions of Ukraine, to eliminate the consequences of air and artillery shelling by clearing rubble and helping the front-line villages and cities. The machinery will also support repairs and maintenance of infrastructure facilities and restoration of the destroyed buildings. This support is part of the significant USAID assistance to Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction efforts.
