Police are currently investigating the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy, Javel Lawton, in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on January 3, 2024. The police responded to a call about a male shot outside the rear of 1550 East 102nd Street on January 2, 2024, at approximately 9:00 pm. Upon their arrival, officers found Javel, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
