In Prypiat, Ukraine, on April 3, 2025, the abandoned city of Prypiat is being observed. It was founded on February 4, 1970, as a settlement for employees of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, located about four kilometers from the plant itself. The city is being remembered for its complete evacuation in 1986 following the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
