The district administration is using an excavator to demolish illegal constructions during an eviction drive at Doboka’s Padumpukhuri Market, evicting 114 illegal sheds on 44 bighas following a High Court directive in Hojai District of Assam, India, on November 10, 2025. The land, originally designated as a grazing reserve, is gradually turning into a full-fledged market over the years without proper authorization.
