Nexperia is a semiconductor chipmaker manufacturer, a tech company, and a subsidiary of Wingtech Technology, a Shanghai-listed company partially owned by the Chinese government. As of October 2025, the Dutch government is taking control of the governance of the firm, citing security concerns while triggering worries about the global chip supply chain and disruption in the automotive industry.
