A restaurant in the center of Warsaw has filled some of its tables with stuffed animals to lighten the empty atmosphere. Currently restaurants are only allowed to provide food for takeout due to coronavirus restrictions. At the tables flamingos, yellow birds, tigers and pandas take seats. The Italian restaurant which specializes in pasta and fresh fish has drawn the attention of several international media with its plush customers. Manager Massimo says his wife came up with the idea as she thought empty tables were a sad sight. They bought several dozen stuffed animals online and placed them, some socially distanced at tables on both floors.
