A priest blesses Easter food with Holy Water as Ukrainian believers attend the Easter Sunday traditional celebration in St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in central Kyiv. According to the tradition the faithful bring their Easter food in a basket to be purified, it always is Pasha (Easter bread), painted egg (pysanka) among other. Most of Ukrainians are Orthodox Christians or Greek Catholic Christians, both observe the eastern rite of Easter. Kyiv remains relatively peaceful as the Russian invasion continuous and Ukraine prepares for a spring counter-offensive to retake Ukrainian land occupied by Russia.
