Aerial video shows the central island of Mingyue Lake Park built and opened in Nanning city, Guangxi province, China, Nov 1, 2022. On the island in the middle of the lake, there are two "7+1" man football pitches, one "5+1" man football pitch, two basketball courts, and an 800-meter road around the island. The island in the middle of the lake covers an area of about 44,000 square meters. In the process of promoting the water quality improvement project of Mingyue Lake, from the ecological and functional dimensions, the main objective is to improve the water environment of Mingyue Lake. The dredged earthwork of Mingyue Lake is used to build an island, and the reeds in the lake are retained. The constructed wetland on both sides of the lake is planned and one third of the central island is reserved as a bird habitat.
