Video taken on Dec. 7, 2022 shows an icefall in the Yanshan Mountain chain gorge, which flows through the Sanggan River in Wangjiawan township of Zhangjiakou City, North China's Hebei Province. In a gorge in the Yeonsan Mountains, water from a waterfall is frozen into a crystal clear icefall that surges beneath the ice hanging from the undercurrent cliffs. The Wangjiawan section of Yanshan Mountain through which the Sanggan River flows forms the only strange Grand Canyon in the basin due to its steep terrain. It forms a six-level waterfall on the 5,000-meter-long canyon, also known as the Waterfall Gorge.
