8,372 people who lost their lives in the genocide in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Yugoslav Civil War, were commemorated with an event held in Izmir on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide. The commemoration event, organized in cooperation with Konak Municipality and Izmir Gultepe Macedonian Immigrants Association, ended with spreading carnations on the sea after the press release.
