Temperatures soar as the sun rises in Yichang, Hubei province, China, February 18, 2024. According to the weather forecast, the highest temperature in Yichang will reach 24℃ on the same day. The National Meteorological Center (NMC) issued an orange alert for the cold wave, predicting that from February 18 to 22, most parts of China will experience severe cooling from west to east and from north to south, with average temperatures generally dropping by 8 to 12 degrees Celsius.
