Activists of Asom jatiyatabadi yuba chatra parishad (AJYCP) stage a protest after the central government notified the rules for implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, in Nagaon District of Assam , India on Mar 11 ,2024. The notification has been issued, the central government can grant citizenship to non-Muslim migrants - from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan - who came to India before December 31, 2014.
